Ginger Baker Walks Off Stage During Jack Bruce Tribute Concert

Ginger Baker was filmed recently walking off stage during a live rendition of Sunshine Of Your Love at a concert celebrating the life and music of former Cream bassist Jack Bruce. The concert was held at the London Roundhouse on Saturday night, marking a year since the death of Bruce on 25th October 2014. 

Baker, also known as 'the most terrifying man in music', founded Cream along with Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce in 1966. Although the band was relatively short-lived, they recorded four studio albums and became one of the most iconic groups of the 1960s. 

The concert saw a number of musicians come together to play a selection of Cream hits as well as some of Bruce's solo work. Guests included: Joss Stone, Phil Manzanera, Ian Anderson, Vernon Reid, Mark King, Liam Bailey, Fiona Bevan and Jack Bruce’s Big Blues Band.

Apparently unhappy, Baker leaves the stage at approximately the 1:20 mark after failing to make his displeasure known to the rest of the band. The drummer to the left of Baker is Frank Tontoh, who toured with Jack Bruce's band prior to Bruce's death.
